Q: I'll provide you with my own artwork for 24"x20" bags. What are your design requirements?

A:

The design for 24"x20" bags should have a printable area 22"(w)x18"(h) - horizontal layout. We need a vector file created in any vector graphic program (Illustrator, CorelDraw, FLEXI, AutoCAD etc). The best file format is PDF. The image should have embedded fonts (create outlines instead of fonts). All drawing elements should be vectorised (we can't use pixel graphics for a screen print process).



Q: The proof you sent me is poor quality. My concern is the print quality.

Please see attached a better quality proof as requested. It is just a proof to show a general layout and let you check the text spelling. For printing I'll use a vector file which means a high quality image. All the edges will be sharp, don't worry about that.



Q: Can you print halftone images on your bag signs?

A:

To make lawn bag signs we use screen printing process. It's possible to print halftone images (images with shades, grayscale) but such a process is more complicated and expensive. We have to order a special film for a silk screen and use a thicker ink to be able to print this image. Please send us your artwork and we'll provide you with a quote.
